The Importance of an Oil-Water Separator

Polyurea spray equipment requires an air supply, which is usually provided by an air compressor. We recommend installing an oil-water separator between the air compressor and the equipment to filter the air coming from the compressor and keep it dry.

It is well known that moist air can affect the performance of sprayed polyurea, especially semi-polyurea. An oil-water separator will dehumidify the air supply. Although it is not an essential accessory and polyurea can still be sprayed without it, equipping your setup with an oil-water separator and an A-component silicone drying tube is highly advisable for better quality control.
